1 on 1 Lessons
Private sessions are 1 hour long. Every lesson is based on the goaltender's personal need. In order to evolve their game, athletes must continue working on their skills at a steady pace. Goaltenders who are consistent with their training will be taken through a personalised curriculum to maximise their skill progression.
Every ice-time is 1 hour in length, and is hosted at various arenas in Calgary and Didsbury from October to February prior to or after school hours. The Academy guarantees a 2-to-1 goaltender to instructor ratio to assure great on-ice development. Every on-ice session follows a progressive curriculum to ensure steady development of each goaltender's technical game.
Spring Development Program
This eleven-week program consists of 26 hours of on-ice technical and tactical instruction, as well as 13 off-ice sessions including classroom, video, and mental skills training throughout the months of April, May and June. EGC boasts a 2:1 goalie to instructor ratio to ensure adequate and detailed instruction. Every on-ice session follows a progressive curriculum to ensure steady development of each goaltender's technical game.
Our summer camps include 15 hours of technical on-ice training, two hours of movement, and 10 hours of off-ice consultation for the week. Both our Elite Development Camp and Prospect Invitational Camp are invitational only. Goaltenders must apply to attend.
