Why do you want to join this camp? What makes you the right candidate (hint: character, work ethic, etc)? And what are your goals for the future?

Info

The Prospect Invitational Camp is for high level athletes who are driven to elevate their game to the next level. All athletes wishing to attend must apply to join.

EGC bolsters a 2-to-1 goaltender to instructor ratio for on-ice technical sessions, ensuring that every student receives adequate attention to improve their skills. Since mobility is the foundation of goaltending, two hours will be devoted to improving position specific movement.

Ten hours of off-ice training will be employed to improve several different aspects of the game. Seminars will be provided to educate students about nutrition, psychological skills training, and off-ice conditioning, as these skills are paramount for elite performance in sport. In addition, students will engage in stretching and body mobility to improve flexibility and reduce the risk of injury.

At EGC, we believe that an educational approach is critical so that athletes can regulate their own development when they depart from the program. Each student will receive a personalised binder with the on- and off-ice the material provided throughout the program. By providing students with the necessary tools to become an elite goaltender, they have the ability to extend their training throughout the remainder of the summer and into the season.

The camp will consist of two groups of eight (total 16 positions) goaltenders, and run from July 30th to August 3rd.
